KAL CAUTHEN - (SAG)Kal Cauthen

Actor, Born KAL CAUTHEN on January 21st, in Englewood, New Jersey is one of modern cinema's most electrifying talents.  As evidenced by a series of knockout performances that have demonstrated his incredible acting range.

The essence of KAL CAUTHEN is as intriguing as his name and as captivating as his on-screen charisma.  He has mesmerized his audience not only theatrically, but also in all realms of art.  From his awe-inspiring performance in "Unforgiven Sins", to his powerfully unforgettable appearance in "American Gangster" and Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?"

This talented, theatrically trained actor began his journey with a recurring role on "All My Children".  Secured leading roles in various independent films such as "The King of Hearts", "A Packing Suburbia", "A Women's Worth", "Catch", "Golddigger Killer", and the award winning film, and winner of the Best Horror feature of the 2005 International Hip Hop Film Festival "Unforgiven Sins", which also won the 2006 Audience Choice Award in the Urban Media Makers Film Festival.

Most recently, KAL has landed the principal role in the television series "Atlanta Homicide", where he plays the lead Detective Bryce.  Kal has also appeared in commercials for Bell South and AT&T.  Theatrically, he has captivated audiences with an awe-inspiring performance in the stage play "Tell Hell I Ain't Comin'."

KAL has also gained favorable notice across the country from modeling in Upscale Magazine to appearing on several book covers of award winning romance novels.  Novelist Rochelle Alers featured KAL on her book covers "Heaven Scent", and "Harvest Moon".  Author Relentless Aaron featured him on his book cover "Seems Like You're Ready Baby".
